Almost Perfect!

This is a very useful book. The selected prayers are the ones most often used by devout Catholics. The pronunciation guide is very helpful to someone like me, since was taught the so-called "classical" pronunciation, and would be just as helpful for someone who had no Latin at all nor any notion of how to pronounce it. The very literal translations also serve as useful guides if you want a better understanding of Latin grammar and syntax.
The only way to make it better would be to reduce the format just a little so that it would fit in a jacket pocket.
Get this book. You'll be glad you did.

A true work of love for God

I am not Catholic. I took Latin in 9th grade at a time that seems to be back in the Stone Age. But, after reading this book, I am able to "Pray it in Latin!" I was amazed the first time I opened the book and saw how Louis wrote out the pronunciation of each Latin word. I could take this book with me to a Catholic church and little by little be able to participate in a Latin mass and understand what is being said.
This is truly a work of love for God and His Word. For anyone who wishes to "Pray it in Latin", this is the tool for you.

Excellent for pronunciation

This is a great little book for correct proninciation in Latin, especially helpful if you're wanting to learn the Extraordinary Form mass. Please note, though, that the Gloria has a printing error on page 27. It repeats 8 lines and it shouldn't, so make sure you skip from "misesrere nobis" (3rd line page 27) to "Quoniam tu solus..." (last line page 27). It messed me up the first time I tried to sing it with the chorus. I haven't caught anything else, but that doesn't mean other errors aren't present so read carefully!
Otherwise, quite fantastic and helpful little book! :)
